Die digitale Subtraktionsangiographie (DSA) ist eine Methode zur separaten Abbildung von Blutgefäßen mittels Röntgenstrahlung. Es handelt sich um eine Form der Angiographie, dient also der Untersuchung von Blutgefäßen.
Wie läuft eine DSA ab?
Die DSA erfolgt gemeinhin in örtlicher Betäubung. Der Zugang des Katheters erfolgt meistens über die Leiste. Nach Spritzen des Betäubungsmittels ertastet der Untersucher den Puls und schiebt dann eine Nadel bis in die Arterie. Durch den Katheter kann man nun Kontrastmittel spritzen.
Wie funktioniert eine Angiografie?
In der Angiographie wird ein Kontrastmittel direkt in die Arterien gespritzt und gleichzeitig eine Röntgenaufnahme gemacht, sodass die Ader im Röntgenbild sichtbar wird. Heutzutage wird i.d.R. mittels moderner Computertechnik eine sogenannte „DSA-Angiographie“ angefertigt.
