Was versteht man unter Bremsstrahlung?

What do you mean by K-alpha lines?

In an emission spectrum, those wavelength lines which correspond to emission of radiation as the electron makes a transition from the shell of principal quantum number ‚2‘ to the innermost shell with principal quantum number ‚1‘ are known as the K-alpha lines.

Is K-beta always more intense than K-alpha?

I examined the intensity vs. wavelength diagram and concluded that K-beta has more energy than K-alpha but K-beta is more intense. Am I correct? if so, is that always the case? The K α is produced by the 2 p → 1 s transition and the K β is produced by the 3 p → 1 s transition. So the K β radiation has a higher energy than the K α transition.

What is the difference between K α and K β radiation?

The K α is produced by the 2 p → 1 s transition and the K β is produced by the 3 p → 1 s transition. So the K β radiation has a higher energy than the K α transition. If you look at a typical spectrum: (picture from the Arizona State University web site)

Which is higher $n$ or $K_\\alpha$?

The $K_\\alpha$ normally has the higher intensity since the probability that the X-rays will cause a $n=1 o N$ transition generally falls with increasing $N$.
