Welcher Stoff ist NH2?

Amine sind organische Stickstoffverbindungen mit der Amino-Gruppe (-NH2) als funktioneller Gruppe. Sie weisen ähnliche chemische Eigenschaften wie Ammoniak auf und können vereinfacht als Abkömmlinge (Derivate) des Ammoniaks betrachtet werden.

Als Aminogruppe wird in der organischen Chemie die funktionelle Gruppe (–NH2) der primären Amine und der meisten Aminosäuren verstanden. Genauer betrachtet werden Amine in drei Kategorien eingeteilt: primäre, sekundäre und tertiäre Amine.

Ist natriumazid gefährlich?

Natriumazid hemmt spezifisch Enzyme, die Schwermetalle enthalten und wirkt daher toxisch. Das Azidion hat zudem einen stark blutdrucksenkenden Effekt. Schon die Inhalation oder die orale Aufnahme kleiner Mengen (beispielsweise 1,5 ml 10\%ige Lösung) hat starke Vergiftungserscheinungen zur Folge.
